Happy Passover

Friday night dinner with aunty

Mum left for home on Thursday and I think it was hard for her to say goodbye to aunty Alla. I was sad she went home. I wished she stayed longer. Friday night I went to Aunty’s for dinner. Kosher le Pasach

It’s the last day of Passover which means a welcome sigh of backside relief from matzoh eaters. This bland cardboard like “bread” is eaten for 8 days in place of levened break, representative of the Israelites not having time to add yeast to their bread as they were leaving Egypt. Our Grand Aunty

The main reason I’m here in Israel is to visit mums aunt Alla. Mum has been visiting her almost daily and she spent Passover with her on Saturday night.
