Friday 17th May. After lunch with Etty and Guy I meet Leon Peters and friend Miles for road trip to the north of Israel. It’s good to finally get out of Tel Aviv again and see some other parts of the country. Miles drives while Leon smirks.

Wed 7th May. Back in Tel Aviv and invited to a rooftop party to celebrate Israel’s 60th year of independence. 50 shekels and an open bar, lots of people, dancing, having a good time, ligh show and fireworks. Great.
