Hong Kong Synagogue and hot dogs.

Mongkok markets.

I’d thought I’d seen it all when it comes to supersized shopping malls, retail outlet factories and basement bargains, but the shopping area of Mongkok takes the cake for looking most like Las Vegas for retail therapy. Crazy Kong.

Writing this post from Jacobs apartment in downtown Hong Kong. Outside it’s raining, windy, humid and hot. Jacob, like me, goes through several shirts a day due to them getting soaked in sweat, usually his own, sometimes from spitting locals. Mostly the Hong Kongians are friendly, sociable, honest and sincere. Welcome to HK.

Sunday 22nd June. Leaving Israel was somewhat sad. Arriving at Ben Gurion Airport 5 hours early gave me enough time to check in, make sure I got my aisle seat (this time at the back of the plane) and wait for 4 hours at the boarding gate. Pork buns here I come!!!

It’s my last day in Israel and tomorrow I fly to Hong Kong for a week. It’s been an awesome time here in Israel, as well as the surprise work trip to Greece and Turkey.
