Kosher le Pasach

It’s the last day of Passover which means a welcome sigh of backside relief from matzoh eaters. This bland cardboard like “bread” is eaten for 8 days in place of levened break, representative of the Israelites not having time to add yeast to their bread as they were leaving Egypt. For dang sake! Always remember the yeast when you’re in a hurry! Take the yeast and the photo albums…and the kids, don’t forget them.

The joy for those observing the Passover rules is that most if not all places to eat have a kosher for Passover option. Matzot replace bread. In some places there is a matzot bread which looks and feels like bread but tastes like finely mulched newspaper. Having lunch yesterday with some friends some wanted matzot and some normal bread. You’d think they would at least serve it in seperate plates.

If you are squeemish, look away now! Oh the horrors!!!
