Visit with the cousins

Continuing the trip to Netanya and our visit to Rinat, Sigalit and Sivan. The last time I saw them was 22 years ago, although I did see Sigalit when she came to Brisbane in 2002. I was very excited to see them.

Sigalit is so much like Eli. The two of them would absolutely cause riot if they got together. They are both very spiritual, organic, free spirited people…not to mention tan.

After some more chatting and nagging, the girls took us to a favourite restaurant of theirs which served arabic food. It was either that or Chinese. But when in Rome…

The restaurant was about 10 minutes drive away and situated next to a petrol station. It was so unasuming that there would be no idea that it would have such great food. The 5 of us were gathered around two large tables as there was so much food and hardly any room for it all.

After dinner mum and I said our “see ya’s” with a promise we would catch up again before we left Israel. They invited me to a music festival next weekend up the north of the country and I think I will go.
